Chief of Staff
Charlotte Taylor is the Chief of Staff at Green Generation and works closely with the CEO to strategize and coordinate high-priority projects and growth initiatives, manage key strategic relationships, and assist in institutional planning and program development.
Prior to GreenGen, Charlotte was Director of Investor Relations at Cartica Management, an emerging markets ESG investment firm. At Cartica, Charlotte institutionalized and oversaw investor relations and new business development, while working in close partnership with firm leadership on long-term strategic planning.
Charlotte also spent four years at Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO), where she served as an emerging markets specialist and as Vice President of Account Management. In these roles, Charlotte was responsible for managing and growing relationships with investors, and contributing to the firm's macro outlook and strategy. She advised clients on asset allocation, suitable investment strategies, structures and guidelines, and helped raise funds for several of PIMCO's alternatives products.
Charlotte began her career at the U.S. Department of Treasury as Special Assistant on the China policy team and to Secretary Timothy Geithner. During her tenure, she conducted analyses of Chinese economic data and growth trends, assisted with negotiations with China's Ministry of Finance, and worked closely with senior U.S. government officials.
Charlotte received an A.B. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Charlotte is fluent in French and proficient in Mandarin.
