Robert is Director, Europe, and is based out of GreenGen's London office. He supports GreenGen's European operations, providing development and implementation of a full range of bespoke energy, water, and carbon reduction solutions for GreenGen’s commercial real estate clients in Europe.
Robert has over 10 years of experience over a broad range of energy efficiency projects, including building services, renewable energy, smart controls, district heating, and due diligence. He has experience developing solutions across all sectors; including government, major utilities, corporates, and real estate.
Prior to joining GreenGen Robert was Technical Lead for the Building Research Establishment (BRE) where he led the Strategic Advisory Energy Team. During his time at BRE, Robert led and delivered a range of projects, including developing energy policy and negotiating its implementation for new developments with the Greater London Authority, demand-side response and battery storage modeling for major utilities, market insight, and energy strategy for major retailers, development of an internet of things smart monitoring device: the BRE Monitor, as well as numerous other energy efficiency and research projects.
Robert received a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics with Theoretical Astrophysics from the University of Nottingham. He is a certified ESOS assessor, Passivhaus consultant, and BREEAM AP.
